Metropolitan Intelligence Begins Using Data Utility in Oakland, CA

The Federal Department of Commerce's National Institute of Standards and Technology created the "SmartAmerica" program under the Obama Administration aimed to create Smart City ad Community development standards, "to establish and demonstrate replicable, scalable, and sustainable models for incubation and deployment of interoperable, standard-based solutions using advanced technologies such as IoT and CPS, and demonstrate their measurable benefits in communities and cities."
